Summary: Firstly my teacher Leo was an absolute gentleman He was clear and concise and also used humor a lot throughout the time which had me a lot of time laughing a lot I learned so much about different plants or trees very interesting and he taught me from scratch how to make many dishes I was absolutely blown away by what I was able to achieve in this class and I'm happy I go home with instructions too I could not recommend this more I'm so glad I did it and I think everybody that loves eating Thai food and likes to cook should definitely do this!! To make it even better they sell pretty much everything that you need to be able to make what you need to make as far as herbs and spices go plus a lot more!

Summary: An amazing experience. Good for all levels of experience. That was my first ever cooking class. The house was amazing. The food came out great.

Summary: This was a fun, well organized and interesting morning. Leo our chef was so pleasant and showed us and added so much interesting information about the Thai food and seasonings used. He met me and then took us on a tour of his garden. I would highly recommend this morning cooking class. Loved it!

Summary: An amazing morning being educated on local Thai cuisine. From start to finish I was made feel welcome. Taxi pickup from hotel was on time and took me to Asian Spicy Garden where I was welcomed by Leo. He took me around his herb garden explaining the different plants he had and what properties they held both in cooking and in the body. I found this very educational. Then into the kitchen where I was led through the process of cooking 5 Thai dishes. Tom Yum Goong Khao Pad Gai Som Tam Geang Khew Waan Gai Mango Sticky Rice I was given a certificate and a recipe sheet at the end to take home with me. I was then shown to his shop which held a vast array of spices, teas, coffees and herbs which can be purchased. A taxi then returned me back to my hotel. Overall a terrific experience and I highly recommend this to everyone that would Like a dabble at Thai Cookery.

Summary: It was very interesting to understand and know the spicies that are used to prepare traditional Thai food. The owner was very friendly and give us very clear explanations. The food we cooked was delicious!

Summary: Have done a few cooking "classes" where they have been closer to demonstrations. Leo runs a great class and we cooked five dishes. Have often eaten Som Tam and it was a treat to know how it is made. Recipes provided for all dishes and I look forward to cooking them at home.

Summary: We had a lovely morning at Asian Spicy Garden. Our taxi picked us up promptly and we were shuttled to the venue. On arrival we were taken through the spice garden which housed several interesting specimen of spice trees and plants. Next we went to the kitchen where we learned to cook four dishes and a desert. Our instructor was very patient and expertly guided us through the process to create tasty Thai dishes like chicken green curry, chicken fried rice, tom yum soup, green papaya salad and thai sticky rice with fresh mango. Highly recommended! Thank you.

Summary: Easy step by step guide to 5 dishes, well explained, made Thai dishes easy to make, you get a certificate at the end and a recipe booklet so that you don’t forget how to make tasty Thai dishes when you get home. There is a herb garden tour included and a spice shop too. Highly recommended. But please go hungry as you will eat everything you cook, fun and enjoyable tasty experience.

Summary: The atmosphere was very relaxed and chill so I immediately felt welcome. The tour of the property was surprising and informative. I hadn’t expected that so I was pleasantly pleased. Leo is amazingly knowledgeable on the subject of Thai food but also Thai culture, I had a wonderful time. The dishes that I made were delicious, everything so tasty. I hope to return and bring my friends with me. I’ve been telling everybody about the class and Leo. I highly recommend this place to anyone looking for a nice relaxed atmosphere to learn some basics about Thai cuisine.
